JF Lambert is a seasoned international banker with over 30 years of recognised industry expertise in commodities and in trade. Until the end of 2015, Mr Lambert was a Managing Director for HSBC plc, having built and led the Commodity and Structured Trade Finance activities for the Group. Based in London and having spent most of his career abroad, he is a key industry voice on Trade and commodity market dynamics. Mr Lambert is an active member of the Trade Expert Panel of the WTO and has recently contributed to propositions to foster trade at the World Economic Forum.

He will present his view as one of France's most eminent investment bankeers of the past 25 years on French corporate finance. The floor will then be opened for a dynamic Q&A session.

Exceptional Conference with Jens Weidmann (President of the Deutsche Bundesbank)

"At the crossroads - the euro area between sovereignty and solidarity"

Sciences Po's Department of Economics is pleased to be hosting an exceptional conference with Jens WEIDMANN, President of Deutsche Bundesbank.

Jens WEIDMANN will present his views on the current state of economics affairs in the Euro zone and future monetary policy. The floor will then be opened for a dynamic Q&A session.

Dr. Jens WEIDMANN is an economist. In 2011 he became the youngest President of the Deutsche Bundesbank in the 50-year history of the German central bank and has been responsible for navigating it through the choppy waters of the European sovereign debt crisis.

Prior to this posting, he served as the Head of Department of Economic and Financial Policy at the Federal Chancellery for 4 years. He was the chief negotiator of the Federal Republic of Germany for both the G8 and G20 summits - the Chancellor Angela Merkel notably named him "Sherpa" to the G8 summit in 2009.

First session of preparation job interview by M Marc Tabouis

5th and 18th november 2015

These mock interviews are done in English (one hour per student).

Marc Tabouis is currently consultant for MT Conseil. Previously, he was member of the executive committee at Credit Agricole and he was also in charge of structured financing. He also taught project financing at Sciences Po and sits regularly as a member of the jury of the Grand Oral.
