The master Economics and Public Policy is designed to equip highly skilled economists with the knowledge and quantitative tools required to understand the rapidly changing, complex and uncertain modern world economy. This stream particularly equips students to pursue careers related to economic policy making in international organizations, national administrations. It also meets the needs of highly trained economists working in the private sector, for instance in banking, consultancy, public-private partnerships or non-governmental organizations.

Students receive a core training in economics and quantitative methods in the first year, which is reinforced through a compulsory course in economic policy analysis in the second year. Option courses then allow students to develop a unique area of specialization: Regulation and Competition, International Economics and Trade, Finance, Growth and Development, Labor Economics and Education, Health Economics, Sustainable development, Social Policies or Macroeconomic policies.

The Master also provides the necessary multidisciplinary approaches to deal with economic policy problems with core courses in political science and political economy, law, governance and management. Students receive professional expertise through case workshops, elective coursework in specific fields of economic policies and summer internships.
