Master in Corporate and Public Management
Double degree with HEC only for Sciences Po College Students and HEC Graduate Students
Main orientations and specific features
The HEC-Sciences Po Master in Corporate and Public Management leads to simultaneous award of a HEC Grande École degree and a Sciences Po degree. The program focuses on acquisition of the tools of public and private sector management from an international perspective. It prepares students for careers in companies, public administrations and regulatory authorities, on the national, European and international levels.
The HEC-Sciences Po Master in Corporate and Public Management is a three-year program which includes two professional internships of 4 to 6 months.
The first-year courses are taught at HEC. They aim to give students a solid grounding in the management sciences.
The second-year courses are taught at Sciences Po. They aim to give students a thorough understanding of the institutional environment of companies and the tools of regulation. Students may also undertake preparation for civil service examinations.
In order to gain professional experience, students are expected to carry out two internships of four to six months – one in the public sector and one in the private sector – one of which must be outside France. As part of this requirement, students must submit a final report for each internship to the Career Services Office at HEC. Throughout the program, part of the courses are given in English. The Master is awarded after preparation of a thesis.
